Fellowships & Support

The BTech programme at IISc is strengthened through a range of support initiatives and fellowships These programmes provide support for instructors and technical staff, contribute to infrastructure and laboratory resources, and fellowships to students, all enhancing the overall learning environment.

Support Initiatives

  • Kotak IISc AI-ML Centre
    Supports visiting faculty, technical support staff (including instructors and system administrators), computer laboratory facilities, and other academic activities.

Student Fellowships

At present, 50 students across batches in the B.Tech. Mathematics and Computing programme receive a merit-cum-means fellowship of ₹7,000 per month. Of these:

  • 18 students receive a full tuition waiver
  • 21 students receive a 50% tuition waiver
